Our instructor, Timothy Trimble was fantastic. Through his skill and patience, was sparked more of an interest for me to be more involved in guitar making and repair. I look forward to being in contact with him in future for further answers.

Loved the class. I took it in Woburn with Scott. Love the guitar, too. I haven't 'finished' it yet but will be getting that going soon. Everyone who has seen it and or played it thinks it came out great. I recommend this class for anyone who likes woodworking and guitars in general.

Well guys, the guitar sounds great and everyone who has had a chance to play it is impressed with it. I will let it stay unfinished for about another 60 days before finishing the sound box.
Now come the lessons. We’ll see how far I get with that.

I took the Teach The Teacher class and being a professional guitar builder it was challenging for me. I learned a few new things and enjoyed every minute.
The class will be a great memory for our family. Tim was a great instructor and helpful. After the building was over and the finishing began he was still available to answered questions. My daughter finished her guitar and is taking it to college for a class. The rest of us are still in the finishing stage. We look forward to playing a guitar we built. Thank you and Tim.
Six students could use a large area, but the class was well organized and moved at a pace for everyone with different skill levels. I would recommend it to most anyone with either a guitar or woodworking passion.
Also both instructors showed a passion for guitar building and great patience.
I had the pleasure of attending the class taught by Robert Ford. He is an excellent instructor and knows the subject extremely well. I would recommend this class to anyonre who has considered making a guitar but just needs to take the first step. The kit is very well put together and Roberts guidance made it all very clear for me.

Thanks for the follow-up. The guitars arrived on Saturday, immaculately protected and secure. We unboxed them to find excellent quality cases. Finally, we opened the cases to get the real treasure: two beautiful guitars. They were stunning, and my boys (10 and 12) were so happy to get their hands on them. I tuned them up over the next few hours as they equilibriated, and they kept sounding better each time I would tune them. I am thrilled with the purchase, and feel like my boys have wonderful instruments to learn on. For the price, I do not believe one can get a better guitar. It may be the best value of any product available, guitar or other. I don't mean to gush so much, but it is rare to be so pleased with a purchase, and I am very happy with these guitars. Tell Scott "thanks" for the set-up and the chat on the phone. You guys are fantastic at what you do and I couldn't be happier. The class (at the Norfolk, VA Woodcraft April 8, 9 & 10) was awesome. Not only did I leave with an excellent guitar, much better than I though my first attempt would be, but I also left with a much better understanding of what has gone into my existing guitars. I also left with a few woodworking skills that I didn't have before the class. Thanks to Scott(Dixon), a great teacher!!!
